My name is Phillip Waller and I am a young communications professional working in Washington, D.C. After graduating from the Lott Leadership Institute and Meek School of Journalism at the University of Mississippi, I moved to the city to pursue a master’s degree in Media and Strategic Communication at George Washington University. I have experience managing and organizing strategic media campaigns, including my time as communications director for a community rally at the University of Mississippi that had 2000+ attendees. The event received coverage from the Associated Press, The New York Times, CNN, and local and regional outlets.
I have a passion for digital media. I am familiar with most of the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily working with Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere to produce graphics, GIFs, videos, and other digital content.
I have photographed for a variety of organizations, including Disney/ESPN Images, C Spire Wireless and multiple local and regional publications through the AP wire.
